Torrid Cash Let Me Buy 3 Pairs of Shoes for Less Than the Price of 1
Me and my very wide calves are on the hunt for the perfect pair of knee-high boots. And by perfect, I mean boots that actually fit my calves and hopefully look good on my legs.
If you have wide calves, you already know the struggle.
Finding knee-high boots that fit are hard. Most places claim they are “wide calf friendly”, yet I still can’t pull them all the way up.
At this point, Torrid is one of the few places I can consistently turn to for wide-calf options. They even offer extra-wide calf boots for my girlies with calves measuring 20 inches or more.
Now, I still think Torrid can be pricey. But since starting a corporate job, I’ve been giving myself a little more room to invest in the clothes and shoes I want. And honestly, I’ve noticed an improvement in some of their styles lately, which has made me even more willing to shop there.
So, naturally, I’ve been spending more money at Torrid. And apparently, Torrid decided to reward me for it in the best way possible.
Wait, What Exactly Is Torrid Cash?
If you have a Torrid account, chances are you’ve received approximately a million emails and notifications reminding you to use your Torrid Cash. They really want you to know that you have money waiting for you!
Torrid Cash can actually be a pretty good deal.
Depending on the promotion, you can earn Torrid Cash through qualifying purchases and redeem it for discounts on eligible merchandise. It’s a good incentive to come back and shop.
Somehow, I had more than $800 in Torrid Cash.
Eight hundred dollars.
How? I genuinely have no idea. Was some of it bonus Torrid Cash from the promotion? Probably. Had I been ignoring emails and notifications without realizing what was sitting in my account? Also possible.
Either way, I was not about to let it go to waste.
Three Pairs of Shoes for One Very Good Deal

Torrid was running their Torrid Cash Event from September 29 through October 11, offering $25 off every $50 spent on eligible regular-price merchandise when redeeming Torrid Cash. And while I’m sure plenty of shoppers were taking advantage of the promotion, I somehow hadn’t even noticed it yet.
All I focused on was finding good boots.
The first pair I found was the Corset Back Over the Knee Boot. Exactly the kind of boots I had been looking for, and the kind I could see myself wearing for the fall. The price was $110.

Yikes.
But in my mind, I had already decided I was going to splurge a little, so into the cart it went.
Then I spotted a pair of Slouch Kitten Hell Booties. I could already picture them with my Torrid Bombshell jeans, so obviously, those went into the cart too.

And then came the red Lug Sole Mary Jane Flats.

Something about red shoes just does something to me. It’s so bold and pretty – I just had to get them.
I could see myself wearing it on my trip to Paris, walking around in a cute outfit and people telling me they love my shoes.
So, naturally, they joined the other two pairs.
At this point, I had three pairs of shoes in my cart and was ready to accept whatever damage I had done to my bank account.
The total came out to more than $240.
Honestly, not surprising. I had just added three pairs of shoes to my cart, including a pair of $110 boots. I knew what I was getting myself into.
But then I noticed the Torrid Cash option at checkout.
I selected the Torrid Cash I had available and clicked the option to apply it to my order.
Ladies.
My total dropped to $109.
Yes, $109.
Was that still a decent amount of money to spend on shoes? Absolutely. But I was getting three pairs for less than the original price of the knee-high boots alone.
Let me say that again:
Three pairs of shoes for $1 less than the price of one pair.
You already know I placed that order immediately.
I went from mentally preparing myself to spend more than $200 to getting three pairs of shoes for $109.
And while I know Torrid Cash comes with eligibility rules and isn’t necessarily the same as having $800 in cash to spend, seeing that discount at checkout was still a very pleasant surprise.
This was the perfect reminder to check those rewards, discounts, and promotional offers. Especially when shopping for something you were already planning to buy.
Torrid Extended The Torrid Cash Event for 2 More Days
And before you ask why I’m telling you about this after the original October 11 end date, Torrid announced an extension of the event until October 14th. If you’re reading this while that extension is still active, check the current terms and your account to see whether you can take advantage of it. Promotions can change, so make sure the offer is still available before checking out.
I’m still relatively new to paying close attention to Torrid Cash, so I can’t tell you how often these events happen. But if this is something Torrid brings back regularly, I’ll definitely be paying closer attention next time.
Because if I can get three pairs of shoes for less than the price of one, you better believe I’m checking my account before I shop.
Now, We Wait for the Try-On
As excited as I am about this purchase, I’m still waiting for my complete order to arrive so I can try everything on. Because let’s be honest, finding shoes you love online is one thing. Finding out they actually fit and look good on you is another.
I’ll be sharing my thoughts once everything arrives, especially on the knee-high boots. I need to know whether they’re as good in person as they looked online, and whether they fit my calves the way I hope they will.
Now tell me: Have you ever used Torrid Cash? And if you took advantage of this event, what did you buy? I want to know what you got and how much you saved!
